Susan has completed specialized training that gives her the edge in understanding a seller's and a buyer’s perspective and protecting and promoting her clients’ interests.   She is a former Special Education Teacher and has the experience working with people with mobility and other challenges.  She also is a proud grandmother to a 4-year-old who has Cerebral Palsy and Cortical Vision Impairment.  She understands the frustrations about Accessible, Visitable and Barrier Free homes.   She understands and has a passion to be of service
  
Susan was been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation by the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR).
 
Susan has been awarded the e-PRO® Certification, the official technology certification program   offered by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR). Susan uses the latest social media technologies to create an online presence to connect with today’s hyper-connected consumers.

About Susan

Susan Janzen

 

Susan was born in Calgary and lived most of her life in Edmonton. She sang professionally for 18 years and was proud to represent the City of Edmonton as Ambassador and the first local "Klondike Kate".    After her singing career, she attended the University of Alberta and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Education Degree specializing in Special Education.  She was a Special Education teacher in Edmonton for six years.  She wanted to pursue her entrepreneurial career and in 2003 she obtained her Real Estate license and has been a full time, full-service REALTOR® and an Accessible and Barrier Free Home specialist.      

Susan is an avid volunteer in the community and is a Volunteer at the Cerebral Palsy Association, is a past member of Excel Society, a past Governor on the Board of the Edmonton REALTOR® Charitable Foundation, and serves as a church board member. She has been a member of the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN), since 2003 and has been given the designation of Accredited Buyers Representative. and Seniors Real Estate Specialist.  She enjoys working with buyers, sellers and investors and has taken special training that focuses on her clients.
